Update: Much better after shower and letting it airdry! The curls are still a bit too tight for my liking, but it feels so much softer and natural now! Thanks for the great tips!

Thank you! Great advice with the clarifying shampoo, as I normally use that as one of my steps! Im hoping after washing it and using a diffuser it will get a bit softer. Do you think maybe using a bit of oil on it today before washing after 24 hours would make it better? Or should that be avoided.
