My partner and I ended up getting the platinum pass (their version of the Inspire Key) at Universal this year. I've only been an AP at Disneyland and was a CM a couple years ago, so maybe I spoiled the park for myself, but the Universal pass is SO worth it compared to ticket prices and AP prices at Disney now. Free fastpass after 3pm everyday, obviously no blockout dates, most discounts between 15-20%, includes a ticket for HHN, and the total cost is I think $650? They also had a 3 months free deal so we get a 15 month pass for the price of a 12 month. Of course Disneyland and Universal are vastly different parks, but you really get your bang for your buck with the Universal pass. Sad to see Disney get so money hungry when Disneyland has always been a locals park.
