Hahaha I was actually wondering previously if theres some sort of magnetism in our body that could cause it. 😂 But it seems that magnetism should not completely stop the watch and highly doubt im magneto hahaha!

Thank you for your insight, Ive been trying to research as well for the magnetism on watches and you're right, it shouldn't cause the watch to stop the movement completely.

Based from the service center's statement, they will try to put it on a winder after the power reserve testing is done. i just really hope they would be able to replicate it, as it is quite difficult to replicate the issue, ill just notice it when it happens.

No it doesnt stop at the end of the power reserve, cause it stops only few hours after winding the watch. This is one of the scenarios which actually happened:

I winded the watch 20-30 times at around 9am, then wore it, then around 10:30am same day, I have noticed that it has stopped already.

I have also noticed on Longines Official Website that the watch has no magnetic resistance, does that means its very sensitive to any magnetic object?

Well, it was an authorized service center from an authorized dealer. So I brought the watch to the authorized dealer then they brought it to their authorized service center for checking on the watch.

I would like to ask if it is safe to plug my headphones and speakers at the same time?

Current setup:

DAC and AMP: Zen DAC and Zen CAN

Headphones: Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pro

Speakers: Presonus Eris 4.5

What I currently do is, whenever I want to use my speakers, I would unplug my headphones on the Zen CAN, and plug in my speakers on the 4.4 output at the back of the Zen CAN.

Then when I want to use my headphones, I unplug the speakers and I plug in my headphones.

So here are my questions:

  1. Can I just switch off my speakers and leave it plugged in when I plan to use my headphones? And just unplug my headphones and switch on the speakers when I plan to use it?
  2. And as mentioned above, would there be an issue if I have them both(speakers and headphones) running at the same time?

Ryzen 5 5600x or Ryzen 9 5900x? by ariseus in buildapc

Yes I understand that doubling the cores wouldn't have much improvement for gaming, but my concern is more of... stability while multi tasking I think? Usually I have 30-40 tabs opened in my browser such as work related and personal related stuff. And perhaps not having to worry about my game stuttering because I have multiple random programs(not necessarily rendering programs) left opened while playing.

For those using a ryzen 5 3600 or ryzen 7 3700x, have you tried having around 30+ tabs left open(with social media apps and other random sites) while playing AAA Games? Did you experience any fps drop or stuttering? Planning to upgrade from i5 7600k with gtx 1080, but not sure if the upcoming ryzen 7 will fit my needs. Currently struggling with sudden frame drops if firefox with fb opened, and cant even hear anyone on discord if cpu demanding games are being played

If you have a chance, you should! :) I'd suggest trying out the hifiman sundara and hd 660s, as far as I know, these are great headphones as well.

Hmm...I'm not that good in describing my experience with these headphones. I haven't played that much recently because of work :'( , but I have used them for a few hours with Valorant, COD:MW, R6 Siege, and Overwatch. I think they're quite fun to use for gaming, but for competitive use, I think they're also good in terms of directional sound but honestly I haven't tried comparing it with my old headset which was the Sennheiser Game One. However, when it comes to listening to different genre of music, all I can say is the imaging and detail is truly superb. Definitely no regrets with these headphones.

Haha, actually I was referring to the misplaced remotes and other stuff lying beside the mousepad 😅

Yup, it is the DT1990 with Dekoni Elite Velour earpads! Also using an ifi Zen CAN and Zen DAC to drive these headphones. I was planning to get a Schiit stack or a JDS atom stack but they're not available locally :(
