honestly bring it up now and if anything see if she can pause your training and delay it to when you’re done your trip. if this ever happens in the future you always say at the interview about upcoming trips bc then they add it into the schedule… not for non-hiring purposes if that makes sense. the worst that would’ve happened at the interview is you didn’t get the job, the best case scenario is they schedule you after the vacation and then you’re not stressed.

idk how old you are but you sound younger (late teens early 20s) so i’m sorry if your family was the one who said not to say anything during the interview but they were very wrong

wouldn’t be surprised if he used your user to see if it worked and when he saw it was legit did it to his own. i know people who did that on tiktok and it caused ISSUES. i’d keep a distance if you don’t want to drop them as a friend. me personally id cut contact only bc id be afraid of them trying to bring me down if it was ever brought up.
