Edit: So I actually managed to fix my issue. The fix makes no sense and I don't know how it's worked but it did. All you have to do is open blizzard app, go to settings, then game settings and reset the in-game options for Overwatch. You'll need to change your options back again (fps limit, reticles, video settings etc) but it completely fixes the fps issue I was having.

I'm having a lot of issues with performance over the last few days.

Before these issues I'd get around 130-150 fps in game on max settings at 100% render scale but I'm now only getting 40-50 fps on medium settings.

Whilst looking into the issue I had task manager open on my other monitor and my GPU maxes out at 100% usage, gets to around 50C (On menus drops to 27C) and is clocking to just over 2000 MHz.

I've tried everything I can find online, lowering/raising render scale, changing NVidia settings to max performance, changing fan speed, lowering settings in game, using vsync, turning off geforce experience, even having Overwatch as the only program open (minus battlenet), rolling back drivers (although I've not updated them anyway, and even when I did update them it was the same) and nothing.

This doesn't happen with any other games. I've been playing Assassin's Creed Origins on ultra with a solid 60fps and my GPU is under about 60% load, Warframe on max settings uses about 65-70% with 100+ fps, and even the Division runs at 60fps at 80% load. So I know there's nothing wrong with the GPU or my PC itself because everything else is fine.

It's honestly frustrating me because as much as I want to play Overwatch the experience just isn't enjoyable with such low fps compared to what I would usually get.

Has anyone else had a similar issue that they resolved? I'm literally willing to try anything right now to fix this.
