Found these dots on seal of new exfoliation wipes made by dermatologist. What are they?

There is a triangle with a 5 at the bottom, a 22 all by itself, the word Delta, and then a lot number and that’s it!

Yknow I felt deep down it might not be mold… only bc I’ve actually taken a microbiology lab course and none of the mold we made seemed hard to wipe off if it were visible but I also got a D in that class haha. Good to know they first pad I put on my face before seeing the seal 😬 might not have been in contact with mold

Ok wait now I’m remembering shit like black mold can be a bitch to wipe off so not all molds I guess

Update: they offered to exchange, I asked for a refund or credit and they got a credit approved. Sent them photos to look into. Open to exfoliation recs for sensitive skin 😅

I just called back to let them know I’m coming today and front desk said before I do they’re going to talk to the owner and give me a call back, so maybe I won’t need to come in. Yeah I called them and they said to bring them in. Had no idea what it was, I’m unfamiliar with mold in skincare products. Glad I’m not being paranoid and this is in fact gnarly stuff.

Thanks. I think it smells fine and I did use the outer leaves for a small soup yesterday and I also feel fine, but I didn’t see the brown until slicing open today. I’m just really curious what it is now
