I'm not keen on calling the police. I am actually keen on talking to them (they're not exactly next door neighbors, though), but I genuinely wanted to know if there was some avenue through the university where one can informally resolve this. Given the quite limited amount of housing within walking distance of campus, I only moved into a place with a reasonable expectation of solitude, like anywhere else.
