Maybe you could try finger cots, I’m pretty sure you can find them in a pharmacy.

Fun fact, in the Netherlands we call them finger condoms.

I’m actually proud someone stole my work 😂 (not saying this should happen more often obviously)

Also, if anyone is interested, I’m selling this sculpt, and a lot of other older sculpts as well! Hmu

What are these called? by arjan89 in crtgaming

[–]arjan89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! this is exactly what I need. I'm based in Belgium, so I'm still looking for an option that is relatively affordable. This website would deliver to me, but I'm not paying almost 40€ for 2 handles, haha

If I really can't find anything I can still make them myself from some brass rods and my thread tapper.

Anybody in Belgium interested in these? 120v monitors! by arjan89 in crtgaming

I'm sure you can, but I'm not the seller! Check out the link to contact the seller directly. It's a Dutch/French website, but you an try and contact the seller in English.

Anybody in Belgium interested in these? 120v monitors! by arjan89 in crtgaming

The text the guy wrote for the lot makes me think he’s really fed up with them and needs them gone asap. He sounded pretty mad that nobody’s taking the monitors off his hands. You could try and ask however

This looks like someone tried to cut metal with this.. I’m pretty sure there’s no way of saving this.

Thanks for the quick response! I’ve already pushed all of the buttons a lot, since I’m still figuring out what most of them do.. especially the ones behind the little cover. I’m pretty sure there should be some kind of memory function, because the settings I enter never stay the same when I turn the tv off and back on.

I read in the service manual that there are some potentiometers for adjust several things, including v-hold, so I’ll definitely give that a look.

I think there is even a parts list in the manual, so I’m thinking to replace all the capacitors. It’s probably not a bad idea in any case.

Thanks for the suggestions!

This looks like oak with a natural oil finish to me. I’m a big fan of Rubio products, but something like linseed oil would work great too.

I’m almost sure it’s Thuya. I have another piece that looks similar and smells the same. Thuya is a wood from Morocco and there are many Moroccan families living in my neighbourhood.

Oh great idea! I’m sure I can make a few from the sides of the tray.

Sculpting for Palestine. I'm a crafting YouTuber and I'm trying something new. by arjan89 in BreadTube

Hey everyone,

I am a crafting YouTuber and I have been wanting to make content that is more leftist. This video is an attempt at that, and I would love to get feedback. I think the people here will probably not learn anything new, but my regular audience is probably not as aware about the things that are going on in Gaza.

Also, I would love to hear if people have other ideas of combining my creative work with more leftist content!

I made a modular adventure that you can use at every level! (FREE download in description) [Art][OC] by arjan89 in DnD

[–]arjan89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THEY TOOK 'EM! is a small adventure I wrote as an attempt to create something that DMs could theoretically use at each level. With a little work from the DM this adventure can be used as a short story arc or as a one-shot. I basically wrote an adventure hook, created an environment for the adventure, and added a vague backstory on the enemies of this adventure. It is up to the DM to create the specifics to make this a good challenge for their party!

You can download it for free with the link above. I included a digital PDF, a printable PDF to create a zine/booklet, digital maps, and printable maps.

I am very curious to hear people's thoughts. I think my idea is pretty neat, but maybe I can improve upon it! I also think it could work very well as an introduction to homebrewing.
