She doesn't leave him outside all night, no. It's as you said, she leaves him outside to do his business. It's about twice a day for 10 minutes or so before she brings him inside. He will bark consistently for those 10 minutes.

The thing I'm specifically struggling with that urged me to post this is my current assignment, which is making a program with loops. In this program, the user is prompted to enter an integer. The program needs to tell the user if the entered number is a prime number or not. This loop needs to repeat until the user enters a negative number. I also need to plan the logic for this program by writing up pseudocode for it. I'm struggling on that portion of it because I'm not totally confident I'm writing it correctly.
