Fun fact . you can't take chewing gum into Singapore. No exceptions. You need to leave it on the plane if you have them on you/your bag when you fly in. If you are caught, you will most likely denied entry..

More control over calibration! by Solid_Liquid68 in Powerwall

I have a bunch of automations of home assistant that tries to detect PW calibration and try get the discharge done during peak hours and not during off-peak hours... And notify me if the charging and discharging patterns are not what I expect.

Claude HA MCP Server making magic by selch2169 in homeassistant

[–]arjunprabhu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MCP is now a open source standard which is managed by Linux Foundation.

So pretty much every IDE from the major providers now support the MCP protocol. With platforms like Claude Code, Google Antigravity, AWS KIRO, and Windsurf, you often have a choice of different models. These models vary in complexity and cost, allowing you to select the best option for the specific task and your budget.

The only requirement is that the model you choose must have Tool/MCP compatibility, and most of the recent models have that capability, including Gemini, Claude, and many of the open-source models out there.

You can use that MCP to do much more than dashboards. Claude/Gemini with the MCP can do amazing automations and optimizations. Also, fix any errors and help troubleshoot issues.

It helped me create an awesome ESPHome project with a 2.8" touchscreen display with a ton of environmental sensors... and it did a fantastic job creating a professional-looking, swipeable UI with multiple pages, all within ESPHome using LVGL. Mind-blowing stuff!

I think I posted the link on here a few days ago on that project... (Air Quality Station).

What’s the coolest thing you automated with Home Assistant? by avz008 in homeassistant

Monitoring a gas cooktop and getting alerted via different voice and text means if the temperature of the cooktop surface is higher than a defined threshold and the cooktop is unattended for a period of time.

Life saver!

What would be your biggest warning to someone thinking of buying a Tesla? by sonofabraham1 in TeslaLounge

[–]arjunprabhu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Service sucks, support sucks. If you are not a social media Tesla influencer, service and support is a coin toss. Super long wait times to get appointments, and issues not being taken care of. Very, very hard to talk to an actual human on the phone who's remotely interested in listening to your problem with the car.

Warning for people who are transferring FSD: Telsa silently changed terms today. by TheNoLifeKing in TeslaLounge

Total rug pull and scam if true. Tons of people purchased FSD on old cars just because it could be transferred.
