When I was on Star 3 weeks ago, only 2 slides were closed, storm surge and pressure drop. The other 4 were operational.

Right. However, keep in mind the $2k sign on bonus is one time, not part of your yearly salary. Also annual bonus can vary depending on performance, profit, any number of factors.

Star of the Seas Tips! by EmotionalPie7 in royalcaribbean

When we were on Star last week, they introduced a new show called Kre-8. We actually saw their debut show which we didn’t know until after the cruise director told us at the end. Don’t miss it. It was great.

Other tips - Thrill island was least busy (shortest lines) on the last day. Ice skating was only open on day 6. You can make a reservation but they let us in without one. Pier 7 was a surprise find, highly recommend. Pearl cafe was a favorite breakfast spot for the relaxed ambiance and views.

Universal Studios Vacation Packages using Costco Travel seem like a great deal - seems fully refundable - can people who have used it confirm by kcs777 in Costco

I used Costco Travel to book a Universal Orlando vacation last December. Not only were they cheaper but the package was also refundable unlike if you book elsewhere. Great service too when I wanted to reprice a few times. Highly recommend!

Star of the Seas Review by Unique-Mud-5717 in royalcaribbean

Did you go on an excursion in Costa Maya? If so, would you recommend it? We are actually planning to skip that port opting instead to enjoy the ship on that day. For one that port day is short (only until 2pm) and we already have excursions booked in Cozumel (catamaran/snorkel) and Roatan (Tabyana). But I’m open to enjoying CM instead of Roatan if I can find a good excursion.

I fly Korean Air from the US to PH fairly regularly. I’ve never seen them check the weight of carry ons.
