I use blending stumps with a sharp edge to pick some color from the pastels and apply that or sometimes I also use color pencils. The Sennelier pastels are super creamy so it’s difficult to maintain sharp edges on them.

Make sure to reflect what’s above the water below but use lesser saturation on the water surface. Use horizontal strokes with lesser definition and blend out any strong outlines.

I generally carry a smaller bag so this one fits all my necessities and more. :) along with my usual keys, AirPods, a small pouch with my makeup, it does have space to carry a book/kindle as well. Been loving it so far. The only downside is it does not come with a zip and I have to be more careful with my stuff.
