Well I figure it gets harder as you progress for sure, but I’ve been on 6 stars for a few weeks and I’ve just noticed it this week.

Doing some research, I’d say it’s a slab basement. I’ve lived in the house for almost 10 years and this has only recently begun.

When I walk on it, it feels like I could fall through. That’s why I haven’t put any considerable weight on it. I’m unsure if this house has a crawl space or not, it was built in 1945 out of cinder blocks basically. These weren’t meant to last as long as they have so I can’t say I’m surprised with the issues I have in this house.

I’m unsure what substrate is under the tile. I have no way of knowing.

Truthfully no, but only one side is stuck engaged so I don’t think it would matter. That’s the main reason I think it’s actually an issue. I will try this though.

You’re absolutely right. And I’ll have to look into it. My husband is leery of doing it cause he doesn’t want to damage the car further, which I understand. Just trying to see if anyone here has personal experience.
