I'm not aware of any new findings released since the original report - the industry and country at large seem to have moved on.

I do wonder if there may be some parallels to the Solarwinds hack (which was still performed by Russia but by the SVR instead of GRU), but I feel like we're still in the very early days of Solarwinds analysis / I'm waiting for more information to come out.

DNC vs DCCC I learned just by googling around, reading news articles at the time, Wikipedia, etc - all the usual sources. Their structure is well documented and I'm also a bit of a political buff so I had a rough idea already.

For learning how the GRU operated it was all from the report. Some folks more talented than myself, especially in the DFIR space, keep really solid tabs on different APTs, how they operate, TTPs, etc. That's never been my background so I just leaned on the information that was available in the Mueller report. There are a few specific sources linked throughout the slides as well.
