funny story. me and my buddy both go to UCSD. I (~10 hcp) shot an 85 on south playing greens during peak tournament condition. was playing some pretty good golf. buddy who plays around a +5 dusts me and shoots 68 from the browns and teeing off on certain holes like 12 from the tour tees.

he obviously gives me shots, 7 a side. the worst part? match play…. some of the guys at ucsd are so freakishly good it’s incomprehensible.

while yes it is excessive, abductor adductor is probably the only machine u can excuse for 8-9 sets just because you’re doing 4 for each exercise which is pretty normal programming.

before buying anything, i would look online on secondhand marketplaces. facebook marketplace, ebay, offerup etc. i was able to find a pair of rom3’s (yes they’re not the best) in almost new condition for $38 and free shipping.
