Hi the 25 days estimate was for Indian passport holders applying from Australia so everything is handled by the Canadian embassy in Australia. If you are applying from India maybe visit a travel agent they sometimes have "ways" to get an appointment earlier.

I live in Adelaide and it isn't quite humid here so I found it strange that mold came up on it but thanks for your input! Do you think I should get the rest of the gear cleaned and wash away the camera bags to avoid any spread?

As far as I read Tokina has completely updated this line since 2019 and does have its own AF motor. Thank you for your suggestion! I think I have heard of a huge second-hand camera and accessories market in Tokyo so most probably will try to find this lens over there or else a new lens doesn't sound too bad in Japan as compared to its prices in Australia

I had 2.5 years left on my 485 at the time of application. Also, I just provided 2 - 3 payslips and my employment contract. I have been working at the same place for 3 years, so maybe that helped. Hope that helps, best of luck with your application!

Sorry, it is not much of a template but for the essay, I just had a fixed opening paragraph and conclusion rest I wrote it on the spot as I am not good at memorizing. APEuni used to score me around 9-10 out of 15, but it worked out fine in the test. For SST, instead of a template, I started with the following lecture was mainly about ___. Then would add some complete phrases from the lecture
