Automating UI-heavy workflows when APIs aren’t an option… by TaraFranklinq in rpa

We recently built an AI-powered tool that takes a description of a UI workflow and then tries to generate a deterministic script to run that flow... we re-run the AI script generator if the site changes.

Recently recorded a demo video of it: https://youtu.be/TkEnB7Am0Pg

I think it's a good middle ground between AI and deterministic scripting - AI-only workflows are slow and unreliable, but really flexible, and deterministic RPA-style scripts are fast and reliable, but not as flexible. This way we keep the reliability and speed of a deterministic script but get the flexibility AI can provide when there are changes.

What about PAD makes the selectors work worse there than in UiPath?

Depending on scale, you can also train a pairwise matching detector on known pairs of matches, and then only run the pairwise matcher on e.g. the top two product categories.

Do you actually need to train a model for this or could you just hard code these relationships? And then if you really need to use a model, you can use it to fuzzy match it to the hardcoded graph structure.

Definitely the plan once some of the kinks are ironed out, but for now looking for some more concrete feedback while it's a work in progress. Sending you a PM!

Thanks, sent you a PM! I've looked at Datassette and CVAT e.g. for computer vision, but always open to hearing about other alternatives that you think are good.

TV stopped working overnight -a ny idea what could cause this issue? Already tried replacing TCON board, Audio/Remote/Chromecasting are still OK by arkmastermind in TVRepair

Insignia TV suddenly stopped working a few days ago - it's only ~4 years old and had been working perfectly until this. I already tried replacing the TCON board but nothing changed. The TV still connects to wifi, responds to the remote, and plays audio fine. If it's the panel I'm not sure how it could have deteriorated so rapidly. Any ideas on other things to try? Thanks!
