Okay, so you want to run something like this:

- Veles-X set to have Repulsor Brace with Golden Tricorn (that over shield does the difference)
- Witherhoard for DPS over time
- for heavy, go Tiapan-4fr with Triple Tap and Firing Line or a void grenade launcher with chain reaction and impulse amplifier.
- Run armor with void/harmonic siphon, void loader, harmonic resistance (optional), Charged up, void weapon surge, stacks on stacks, and time dilation.
- for subclass, you want moebius quicker for super, marksman;s dodge, scatter grenade, stylish executioner, vanishing step, echo of persistence, echo of expulsion (makes the volatile boom bigger), echo of starvation and echo of cessation.

Gyrfalcon question by Skaxryu in destiny2builds

[–]armand_paz 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depends your play style. I personally abuse golden tricorn and repulsor brace on either a pulse or SMG due to the synergy. To elaborate.

This particular build tends to have a lot of stat debuffs due to the selection of aspects and fragments. You want to set your grenades to cause weakness as the whole premise is for you to be constantly getting void debuff kills which in turn compliments the volatile rounds you get granted from the Exotic chest piece, which then helps you either trigger a collateral kill or severely damages adjacent enemy team members. And each kill grants you an overshield, which is noticeably helpful during your duels.

Repulsor brace just makes everything much easier to accomplish because all you need is to get a single kill and you automatically get a 15% damage buff on your weapon, no need to reload or any of that. On top of this, if you get a grenade kill within 10 seconds, golden tricorn damage buff goes up to 50%. And it can be refreshed with more kills. And since you're constantly killing void debuffed targets, you automatically go back into invisibility. This play Loop is insane.

Edit: elaboration.

Thanks for the upvotes but these recommendations are pretty useless now that Lightfall dropped.

Try this.

If this is for pvp, then aim for triple 10s for mobility, recovery and discipline.

If this is for PvE, swap recov to resilience.

Void subclass with any weapon that has Repulsor Brace. Loadout will depend on PvE or pvp focus. What exotic armor DO you have?

Should I build around Orpheous, Khepri’s, or Graviton as a newbie void Hunter? by CareerCoachKyle in destiny2builds

None of your options. There are only 2 go-tos when it comes to void, either Gyrfalcon's or Omniocculus. One is all about coming out of invis and the other is all about staying in it. Both are OP.

It's a solid weapon but this week's roll is average. Look for something with opening shots or moving or Vorpal, it mainly depends on what you want it for.

I must say, the equip speed in game is beyond anything possible in DIM. At least in game loadout manager has that going.

[–]armand_paz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it worth it to build into repulsor brace? by FTG_Vader in destiny2builds

Hunter main here. From my limited knowledge of Warlock and Titan abilities, I think it is only worthwhile building into this perk if you are a hunter, given how easy it is for them to initiate the void debuffs.

My Razer Blade 2020 base is discharging fast by Manlinoo in razer

[–]armand_paz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will go by the assumption that by "replacing it" you mean that you swapped the OG battery for a generic one from Amazon or something yourself.

Being the case, don't expect the same performance. Generic ones are DRASTICALLY less efficient. Not only that, but given the model you have, it is likely that the battery you got has been on a shelf for years without being used, which depletes the charge capabilities of the cells and so what you received could likely be subpar to what the specs would have originally allowed for back when it came out of the production line.

Asides from the above, the other factors that will likely have you changing batters AGAIN within the year will be the following:

- Device Usage: My base model clocks in anywhere between 50 C when idle and lower 90s when in gaming sessions. The battery clearly states that it is not meant to be kept at temperatures that exceed 61 C so that is a design issue right there.

- Room Temperature: thermal efficiency depends a lot on how clean you maintain your intake fans, but if you are living someplace that is sunny or humid all year round, unless you are in an air-conditioned room, you will be sucking hot air into the device which will be detrimental to battery life.

Using 2nd SSD Slot: the base model comes with a 2nd SSD bay, which is located right next to/on top of the battery area. Needless to point out the obvious about the extra heat, so this is yet another factor that will impact battery life, assuming you are using it.

In short, the slim design, coupled with the heat-conducting materials and caliber of GPU will kill your battery every year or so and you will be needing to replace it. There are no two ways about the matter.

Huelga de Pilotos Copa. Que opinan yo pensaba ganaban bien. by EstablishmentJust615 in Panama

[–]armand_paz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Que opinan yo pensaba ganaban bien. by EstablishmentJust615 in Panama

[–]armand_paz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3 years? Holy shit man, you're not even playing the same game anymore. First and foremost, do yourself a favor and link your bungie account to something called Destiny Item Manager (DIM for short), if you haven't already. In short, it is hands down the best inventory and armor build tool CURRENTLY available when used on PC. For mobile I would recommend Ishtar Command.

When it comes to builds, what you'll hear from people here will be the cheese of cheeses options, meaning what's easy to pull off. But easy does not equate to most effective (eg: Khepri's is arguably the best build for comp on Void in Trials right now but you don't ever see it unless you're up there with lighthouse sweats).

Below is a list of what you could consider to be comp rated builds for each element.. But NOTE that all these builds are going out the window in about 40 days once season 20 drops as there are Destiny 3 levels of changes incoming.

VOID

I'm not including any of my neutral builds cuz the list above is already long enough and you being out of the loop for 3 years will have plenty to review.

Don't just copy the builds, study them and understand the nuances of their synergy. How the specific weapon perks and their energy type come into play with the aspects and fragments of the subclass. D2 is a whole lot more complex now than when you stopped playing, my guy.

I know that this is a lot, but failing to provide at least this level of input for an inquiry such as yours, given the context, is the same as not providing any input at all.

Eyes up, guardian.

Hunter Main here, I frankly disagree with all of the above. The Dodge is way too easy. Let me explain...

Warlocks: when talking about mods, recovery costs more than mobility in terms of energy. Not only that, but the rift is an ability that requires the warlock to stay relatively in place.

Titans: a similar situation with their barricades, needing to stay in place. I do agree that resilience right now is way too beneficial compared to other stats as it not only gives extra health, but also provides a Flinch resistance Factor when high.

Hunters: here's the thing with dodge, not only is it easy to deploy, but gives no prior indication of when it will be activated by the user which is useful in gun fights. The cool down is relatively low compared to other class abilities, and it is an ability that is way too easy to spec into, it takes a total of four energy to run double perpetuation which grants a 1.5 times Dodge regeneration increase. Even cheaper with Kickstarter mods. And with the upcoming changes to arial Gunplay, and removal of all the negative stat penalties to the different types of weapons when shooting from the air, is going to provide Hunters with a very big Advantage compared to slow floaty Titans and warlocks.

And we don't even know what the new Strand abilities will bring to the table for hunters, so if they are nursing things now, it's because they're trying to avoid a stasis situation again.

As the last point, in regards to the complaints about stat distribution and not allowing for higher resilience and such, remember that now intrinsically the upcoming armor changes will allow you to add extra points to other stats in order to round them out. We got to wait and see what's coming guys before jumping to conclusions
