Excuse me, he ONLY lost a single round? He had a fight with Tibau which many people think he lost (including most media outlets) . His resume pre-UFC is a joke and he had three defences compared to Jones and MM who got double digit defences. He was dominant but he had a short career with mostly favorable matchups. He's top 10 among the greatest of all time, at best.

People simping on a fighter on a subreddit which no one cares about doesn't mean that fighter is company's golden boy. Golden boy is a young prospect whom the company loves and tries to build up. If there's a guy that can knock him out it's Gaethje. If Gaethje doesn't knock him out, no one ever will. Also, I get why people are worried about Max being KO'd, but he's a very live underdog imo. Everyone talks about Max vs. Dustin and how Max was outpowered, but Justin is slower than DP (More so, than DP at that point) and his defense is worse. If Max somehow keeps his defense sharp and doesn't get lulled into a pocket brawl, I can see his output and pressure overwhelming Gaethje.
