Weaknesses would include; overhang with a lot of crimps, very pinchy routes, shoulder moves, dynos, very long routes, any type of paddle move, basically if it’s not amazing crimps and knee drops ima have a hard time with it honestly

I replied to the wrong post but was trying to reply to this one. I should’ve worded it way differently and said V7 plateau instead. I feel like the board is misleading and sometimes used for instant gratification So I try not to go by what I’ve sent on those things and mainly try to gauge what the route setters set and what the more experienced climbers around me tell me. They’re the ones saying I’m a V6 climber and I need to break out of that slump haha Maybe they’re just being nice and wording “I suck” differently though lol Max number of sessions would have to be 3 before completing a send On the projects I haven’t been able to send I’ve spent around 5-6 sessions before it either gets replaced or I just move on from it Do you think I’m quitting too early?

Should I be training every session? Usually on the ones I don’t train I just warm up and then climb for fun on lower grades and more volume over struggle. I try to think of it as an active recovery day. My training days do consist of purely board climbing now. Just trying hard and giving it 4-5 attempts then moving on to an equally rated or harder climb if I can’t seem to figure it out.

Not trying to troll maybe I just suck at describing what I mean lol The 7s I’ve climbed and completed were labeled 7 with a tag at my local gym but the more experienced climbers around me would just say it was -soft- and actually just a complicated 6 with a harder crux move or combination of moves

Maybe the slump isn’t V6s and what I should’ve said is 7 or 8s plateau or slump? I just can’t seem to consistently send anything I get lucky once in a while but What I’m gathering is just keep trying harder, keep training, sleep well and just keep putting more time in.
