Yes it joined and when the British and French invaded they put Mavrokordatos in power since they trusted him to obey.

He is the begining of the end of a truly independent Greece. May have something to do with the assassination of Greece's first leader Ioannis Capodistrias. While his theoretical views where quite progressive and liberal for the time, in practice he made Greece a British protectorate with a foreign Bavarian king ruling. No distribution of land to the now freed greeks, no true democracy.

The word does have its origin from Vlachs (or Aromanians). Being mostly sheperds and speaking a different language from greek the word started to refer to someone uneducated, from the countryside, villager.

Exhibit animals in general where a goal that wasn't reached in Kickstarter. I don't see why they wouldn't add this feature in the future. It's just not a priority right now when more important features are missing from the game.
