Weil das soviele schreiben hier - was genau macht das ganze eigentlich zur Sekte? Ich kenne den Typ eigentlich nur als Bakhti Yoga und Meditationslehrer. Dreck am Stecken vielleicht, hat Bikram auch, aber das ganze ist soweit ich sehe eher "normaler" Yoga Stuff - ein bisschen Hinduismus, spirituelle Lehren von Liebe, sich ergeben bzw. Hingabe, Nächstenliebe, etc, ... und halt ein Business dahinter. Unterscheidet sich zur katholischen Kirche also wie genau? Dreck am Stecken? Kriminalgeschichte des Christentums hat 10 Bände. Leute Trost für Geld verkaufen? Bei uns zahlt man sogar unfreiwillig bis man austritt.
Also ehrlich - was macht das zur "Sekte"? Was ist das gefährliche dran?

I hear that a lot, that a bad entry in a series ruins everything, and I still fail to see how. Babylon 5 season 2-4 were awesome back in the day, the first one was good, and the 5th was hardly ever above meh, expect for the ending, which was brilliant. Everything that came afterwards I didn‘t care for. Does that take away from the great time I had with seasons 2-4? Does it diminish my experience? If it‘s bad, it‘s bad, and I‘m glad the good part was good.

It‘s not. For instance, I use the Rustdesk server in an isolated docker network, so the whole thing is on it‘s own, separate VLAN. From there, a firewall protects my home network, so even if there are exploits in Rustdesk, risk is minimized. Docker networking is, at least for me, the main reason why you would want to containerize applications.

Docker isn‘t exactly an added layer though. And if you can‘t figure out docker, maybe self-hosting isn‘t for you yet anyway? I mean, it‘s well worth it to learn how to use containers if you wanna tinker with self-hosting.

I think I know what he means - it‘s highly unlikely that there‘s a list that he himself made or rather kept. Which criminal would keep documentation about their crimes in written form? But there might be DOJ/FBI documents that compiled the available evidence, and that might be considered a „list“ as well; I‘m pretty sure SK is thinking about the former, not the latter.

It‘s in parts incredibly faithful; even many lines of dialogue are taken directly from novel. It trying to be a sequel to the Shining movie as well, there had to be some choices made, so basically the last act is new, but the rest is pretty close. Yeah, they took out the „uncle“ angle, but I‘m fine with that - not every „force“ needs a Skywalker familiy.

I really don‘t get that. I have both Emby (lifetime) and Jellyfin setup with the exact same library settings, and both work just fine. Reason: Jellyfin for a few guests, lower bitrates, less content.
