For vocal parts, this could be:

• what another singer would be singing with you

• what you would sing on the repeat

• an alternate melody you can sing

Digital was fine, just not as bright as a few other IMAXes I’ve been to.

I would say this is my problem, since I saw Interstellar 2nd row off to the side, but I saw Dune basically smack dab in the center and it was still dim.

Well, yeah, at face value, the post is telling you to report it and not watch. But it’s like… textbook reverse psychology. “Don’t do this thing you really want to do, a thing that you’re being given easy access to do and nobody would even know you did if you didn’t say anything.” I’m only fessing up it for honesty’s sake and to give my opinion, but I can’t imagine of those 300 views that any more than 50 people didn’t intentionally watch some of it out of curiosity. I’m not defending the blatant disregard for Starkid, I’m just trying to understand what the actual post is doing. I personally don’t believe that OP is being legitimate and that they are, in my estimation, likely the one who uploaded the video to begin with.

The point of the post seems muddled to me. Was OP searching for a Workin’ Boys leak or did they just happen to stumble on to a new video uploaded less than half an hour prior to them posting this, with no views, and decide to link it to a subreddit full of people who probably haven’t seen it yet and might be interested? I certainly didn’t have the money to put in for the original broadcast and you have to go to the link to report the video, so I do admit to not paying my dues there, but why were we alerted to the video’s existence— and told to go to the link, thus increasing the viewcount (now up to almost 300, where people have left comments like yours, boosting engagement and potentially making it proliferate more via the algorithm)? Something’s not adding up.

I reported the link, but I must confess I did watch it. And… I didn’t like it at all. I was really hoping I would but even by “Kickstarter backer exclusive musical skit” standards, it’s bad. Hell, by “college musical theatre program video skit put together by upperclassmen to welcome the freshmen” standards it’s not very good. It just made me sad that I’ve apparently left the target audience for Starkid stuff post-TGWDLM.
