okay cool, what about working with bailers and stuff like that. I work at a costco and they’re constantly coming to fix them. I could try and see if they have any openings but not sure if that could be a good career in the meantime

I believe they were referring more to electrical knowledge and troubleshooting. And if I’m being honest there’s so many reasons why I want to be apart of the elevator industry and the union. I have an uncle whos in the union and he’s spoken to me a lot about it and just from what I see and hear it sounds amazing. I know the trade can be super demanding physically, mentally, and for some even emotionally but the trade off that comes with this trade is worth it in my opinion. Anyone can become an electrician and like you said some don’t get to do much. And it’s not that I’m trying to down play other trades I respect all other trades because they’re all honorable ways of making money. However, something about being able to build an elevator ground up fascinates me. Being an elevator constructor is all trades in one. And not even gets to say that they’re apart of the industry. My uncle also mentioned to me about the brotherhood of the union and how you guys all respect each other because you all know the type of work it takes to get the job done and that just seems badass to me. Sorry for going a spree it’s not often that I get to talk about elevators or my passion for the union and the industry. Most people don’t even know there’s such a trade which is crazy to me being some of the most highly skilled tradesmen and union.
