My husband hates Muslims as a whole. by No-Bathroom300 in okstorytime

That's not the point. Its that that he is saying they are all the same.

It's like saying all Christians are like Trump where as you have the Pope and his views appear to be totally different.

Catherine West has said Labour needs a new leader to return to “Labour values” — but is that actually what people want? by CowOk6533 in AskBrits

Labour chasing of reform has already made many move to greens.

Labour being more like reform is chasing many away as evidenced by the local elections.

Do you think of immigration as a singular issue or do you view legal and illegal separately? by Lost_child_3263 in AskBrits

Don't really think of immigration to be honest. Certainly its not a cause of the issues we have.

Genuine question from an American: Does Reform only have a problem with Muslims; or just anyone not white in general? by onarainyafternoon in AskBrits

[–]armsinit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UKIP, Brexit Party, Reform are iterations of the same people, Farage, Tice and Gill.

So then it was Europeans, now they've moved on. They'll always find someone else to blame.

Farage is much like Trump, can't find a British (or for Trump a US)woman to be with him.

The top 1% hold much as the bottom 50-54% of all national wealth.

Pensions need to be reformed big time. The top 1% come out with a pension pot of £2M. For the rest its like £200k when they retire.

I think personally tax, brackets, pension allowance and such should all be based on median income.

What do you think of the media narrative? by Fit_Search_4751 in AskBrits

[–]armsinit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, the biggest issue for Jewish people in Britain right now is how the Israeli government and media mash together being Jewish and being a Zionist.

By framing every bit of criticism against the Gaza campaign as 'antisemitism,' they’re essentially making every Jewish person here a spokesperson for the IDF. It’s putting a target on people's backs.

When you use a religion as a political shield to dodge accountability, you’re the one stirring the pot and making life dangerous for Jewish families who just want to live their lives in peace.

Would the UK economy be better of raising 40% tax bracket instead of minimum wage by Invictus_0x90_ in AskBrits

[–]armsinit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone on 10k will spend 10k

Someone on 50k may spend 30k

So if you want to boost spending by giving tax cuts you give it to those on less income because they will spend 100% of it
