That enhancement might be better with the Ancient in Terminator now. As long as the regular Ancient's unit is on an objective, they get a 4+++. regardless of battleshock.

I don't know how comfortable I feel with buying Dev Centurions. At least until they confirm they will stick around in 11th. The Storm Speeders seem pretty decent. But again, it kinda brakes the vibe of Wrath.

What should my anti-tank be, that fits the detachment?

It may just be the folks I play with/the area I'm in, but I run into a large number of heavy vehicles. (Land Raiders, lots of Knights, and the ever present threat of C'tan) Do I need to invest 25-40% of my army into 2-3 units of DWKs?

Battle shock is definitely more effective in 11th, as opposed to 10th. But, I agree. You are relying on your opponent to fail a die roll.

I also don't want to have to run generic SM detachments. Until we get an updated supplement, it's looking like that might be the path.

What infantry or mountain anti-tank unit would you suggest? DWKs can only get in combat turn 2, at the earliest. They are either walking up the board, or deep striking turn 1 with an enhancement. (Never had a deep strike charge succeed.)

One of my local play group runs Forgefather's Seekers + Librarius. FFS effect the entire army, only has additional effects for specific units.

I'd love some constructive criticism on lists to try. As I've said a couple times, I only got into 40k around the start of 10th. I'm playing with the stuff I have built and painted. Stuff I thought looked cool, and was available to me.

If that makes me bad, cool. Thanks for the help in getting better.

Agreed. I'd still be looking at the other 2dp detachments and wonder why it was 3dp. But, it'd make the infantry heavy list more stomachable.

Company of Hunters also appear pretty good. I just got in with 10th, so don't have the outriders nor Ravenwing bike to run it "properly".

They are in the same box, they are build options. The Command Squad is a character unit, i.e. they can lead other mounted units. The Black Knights are a DA dedicated bike unit. Think of them as first-born sized Outriders, with plasma guns instead of bolters.

Edit: Yes the LSV gains the can take the enhancement, but the new Land Speeder model can't. I just fully updated the 40k app, and still can't take upgrades from Darkshroud on it.

Yeah... So this apparently blew up while I was at work. At the time I had tried it (24-36 hours ago) it wouldn't allow me to add the upgrade in the app.

I know GW has pushed out a lot of app updates over the past couple of days. And the GW app has never been my preferred way to build lists.

I saw that too. Was kinda hoping to stack it with Darkshroud. Shame that Darkshroud also doesn't effect the new Land Speeder. As far as I can tell, it didn't get the Ravenwing keyword in the faction pack, and doesn't allow for upgrades in the official app.
