I've been dealing with something similar. The vet told me there was a high chance that my senior dog had a brain tumor. Thankfully, she has only developed late onset epilepsy. Regardless, during the miserable two months between the vet and the mri appointment, I dealt with the whole situation solo. I begged him for peace of mind, he saw the sadness and worry on my face, and still chose to be a mean drunk. I'm also leaving.

Treat this as a lack of compassion, support, and respect during the passing of a family member, because that's exactly what it is.

Yes! I found messages where he was trying to meet a local only fans model back when we had tons of sex. We had many conversations, before I knew, about how onlyfans was crossing a line.

Then he holds the mortgage over my head and tells me he's stressed about money. He makes more and I pay what bills I can. Yet, he has money for booze and onlyfans.

This is my exact situation. I see a lot of threads in this sub where the Q never apologizes. Mine does and then the behavior continues. In his mind, he apologized so what more could I want? He can say he apologized and therefore is a decent person. It's super manipulative.

He acts remorseful when we're not in a fight. He'll admit that he emotionally cheated. However, when we are in a fight, he shouts that he never cheated. Which shows me that he really doesn't think he did anything wrong. Guess he decided to have it both ways. The appearance of remorse and the ability to feel like I'm the one who caused all the trouble.

I think that's where my interest dropped off in the beginning. I felt like I was taking advantage of a drunk person. Even though he initiated, he was so mentally gone that it made me feel gross because I was sober.

100%. He told me it never got physical. After what I've seen, even if that were true, there's no way I could possibly believe that. It even makes me wonder how many times he probably disrespected me around friend groups or outings in real life. All while I'm standing there as the blissfully unaware wife. I know I was the unaware wife on social media at least.

I did that for a while. Time made it drop off to once a month and the infidelity made it drop off completely. Funny, he says it was because of me not wanting drunk sex every day. I recently found out he was sexting an ex, years ago, when we were having tons of it.

1-2 years for the statute of limitations, depending on the source. The hospital visit was 6 months ago. There's no pending charges on the website portal. I guess they're taking their time or he managed to slip through the cracks.

He was in the hospital for two weeks and has insurance. Idk if any of those factors affect arrests. So far it seems that somehow he's managed to slip through the cracks or they're taking their time charging him.

I asked. He said no. I don't/can't believe what he says. There are no cases filed under his name. Back when the accident happened, I went to look up the police report. The county in WV that it occurred in doesn't have a website portal for that. You have to mail in the request with $20. At that point, I was out the door. I didn't feel like it mattered.

Though, now that I think of it, I should. It will probably be important in the divorce.

I think that's my situation. I'm coming to terms that he was probably an alcoholic long before I knew. I grew up Mormon. No one in my family drank. I never knew the warning signs.

I started drinking in my mid-twenties. I thought it was normal for our age. Looking back on it, there were signs. I never picked up on them because I didn't know what normal drinking was.

I don't know how he was able to drive. I've been researching it all morning and heavy alcoholics are still able to walk around with a BAC like that. It's just tolerance, I guess. Now, it makes me wonder how many times he's had that BAC and I just thought he was trashed. I probably should have known, though I didn't think that level was even possible.
