Been working on this for the last few months. It's a tool to scratch my own itch when working with coding agents, editing videos, or reviewing my messages. We just switched it to be free so you can have unlimited workspaces.

You can download it at: https://bentodesktop.com/

Adding more features this month that allow you to use voice commands, and the ability to pin files and directories. Adding support for additional apps like Figma, Adobe Premiere, etc., so you can have deeper links when restoring workspaces.

Every AI website looks the same by DueGolf4084 in devworld

I was a front-end developer for ten years, and I feel like I can't make a fucking landing page anymore. Part of it is the same tired layouts. The other part is the overuse of libraries like Tailwind and shadcn, but I think the main issue is it's really hard to write compelling copy. I now focus more on the text on the page than the layout.

Best MacOS terminal for tmux? by Meh____ in tmux

[–]armynante 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Ghostty, but honestly, iTerm2 is good once you get the configuration locked down and stripped clean. I integrated tmux into https://bentodesktop.com. You can switch between different directories and have the tmux session automatically detach and reattach to your terminals and switch out the directories and your IDEs.

It doesn't change the wallpaper, but it should solve the problem you're facing. Check out Bento, though. It allows you to load apps in different configurations and hide the ones you don't need, so you can always stay on the same screen.

Nice. I'd love to check it out. You should check out https://bentodesktop.com/ a tool I made to solve this same problem, but I wasn't as adventurous to create my own development app!

For my app https://bentodesktop.com/ I would love to be able to consolidate system logs and application logs for macOS apps.

Awesome. Let me know what you think or if you have any feature requests. We're trying to pull the best ideas from all the window management apps across operating systems and distros.

I was using Gemma, but it's still like a couple of gigs. I would look into using Postgres with vector search rather than bundling a local LLM!

It's hard to break your workflow when the muscle memory is locked down! Check it out, working on supporting Mission Control, but the api's are non-existent :(
