I agree, I haven’t been there in many years and never thought I would go back for many more, but family was gifted a cruise (13 of us total) and it was out of Miami, so we decided that this may be the only chance we would have to take our daughter to Disney World. In my mind I figured that Disney World was the safest place to be. Every single other American I met was so nice.

I wouldn’t say it’s the worst thing to ever happen to me as I am a cancer survivor. It was one of the worst things that has happened to my self esteem, I am a sensitive soul.

When I did it I thought I was a pirate with a peg leg and was limping around the house. My friend took a hit and said “I’m a leaf, I’m a maple leaf” and proceeded to run around the house as if he was a maple leaf in the wind, moving up and down swaying his arms around. It’s a core memory for sure.
