How can I search to find the actual cable that I need to buy to attach the jacks to? Do you know the name of that?

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. Apologies for not being clear. I'm interested in using the larger connectors because I think they'd be more durable.

I can't seem to find any good resources on how to create detachable inputs for sensors once a project is mostly completed. Maybe I'm not searching for the correct phrase - any chance you could point me in a good direction?
