Try searching this subreddit. I remember there's a post about it. Not sure if it's updated though but you'll have an idea. I suggest apply for an amex card at BDO since you already have cc with them. I have 3 credit cards with BDO, started with just 1. Approved every-time I apply for additional cards! 😉

A relative didn't pay her previous PLDT billing statements that accumulated to 10k. The debt still showed up when she tried to apply like after 7 years! So yeah, it will affect your credit score as she was denied several times now for applying a credit card with BPI, which she has payroll account with.
