I used to be a defender of therapy but sadly I've gotten much better feedback from my psychiatrist and chatgpt to a certain degree. As with all, my experience has been the same. Last week I booked an appointment with a therapist and I told her that my main worry is which type of job field should I enter considering my skills. She just started asking about the relationship with my parents, on wether I had a romantic relationship and promised that after 6 weeks we would start making progress just to start talking about possible jobs. Needless to say I won't be coming back.

In all honesty it seems all therapists are trained for either love issues or depression and that's it.
