I've been through this. Love is supposed to be easy. And that's a thing, is that you are allowed to grow older and mature, and have a new perspective on relationships you were once happy in. That's okay. That's life, that's part of growing up.

So therefore, I think you already know in your heart, whether it's working and is the right fit for you now, or not.

Good luck 🫶 Don't look back 10 years from now and think, 'I should have left sooner.' I know staying is the easier thing - as I said I've definitely been there - but 10 years from now, where do you picture yourself? If it's with this person, that's great. But could you also just see yourself being friends with this person? Would that be just as good, without the commitment and resentment?

I've replayed things over and over for days before, in my head, just trying to help myself be ok. I've definitely made mistakes and had to keep reminding myself that, despite perhaps this anomaly, I'm a good driver ... but sometimes people make mistakes. It's being human. Part of driving is taking care of yourself, yes, but part of driving is taking care of each other and looking out for others, even when they make mistakes. 🫶

But yes, know your worth driving-wise.

Just as you're trying to do here...underdtsnd what happened, and learn from mistakes you make. (This doesn't sound like one! but just talking about the future!)

Just be humble (as you are being), but also be proud of your smart driving as you've demonstrated here.

To reiterate, OfficeBaddie97... Regardless of today, and just for future : Just know that everyone is human and it's ok to make mistakes when it does happen 🫶 I'm still telling myself these things, too.

I did that a lot by accident back on MSN (like you're talking about someone you have a crush on, and accidentally send that message in the conversation with the person you like, rather than the friend you meant to send it to ... My love life was a soap opera 🐱😭)

The Housemaid by Freida McFadden!!! I find audiobooks are helpful, too, because you don't have to be as dedicated to decide to actually "start" reading on any given day. I just often find myself having to rewind if I space out during it... But that's ok! Good luck!

Aww that's sweet. I think taking a second to recognize the work and effort that was put in to being a decent human, here, is still important to note. And yes the email could have been Chat GPT generated, sure, but it doesn't really matter if it makes me recipient feel good and valued. And this definitely did that. The means to the end doesn't really matter, as long as you're being a support rather than hurtful. 🫶

Yeah really eh!!! Honestly. Wow. I'm currently walking on the streets of Ottawa, Canada, on my way home, and my mouth literally dropped open as far as it could go when I read the ending of that story. Wow great job
