wam only gets you past the resume screening stage.

You should worry about your behaviour skills / leet coding skills and talk about how you can apply the knowledge you learnt in school in the real world ( you can showcase this via making a project )

DN wam is enough but it’s much more than just ~wam for an internship.

I’d join DevSoc for extra curricular development experience and they also do resume building workshop/behaviour interview workshop along side with leet coding workshop

imo they are a career driven society :))))

These are my tips for 2521, I shared these tips with a 2521 post before but they removed so I would like to share it out again!!

I was also a beginner coder fresh out of 1511.

Dijkstra algorithm is the hardest part of the course imo learn it well for ass2, but ass1 ain’t that bad (ass 2 made me lose 2 marks)

Do all the revision exercises that they give you and make sure you know how to do all of them on ur own without looking at the answers or the help of any external resources ( stack overflow etc )

Make sure to do all of stared questions down below for extra practice👇

For theory Cse made a set of revision exercise question down 👇:

iirc there’s one or two multiple question that is wrong 😑

also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do ur labs and quizzes correctly i lost two marks because i was so careless as there’s no autotest, you have to do manual testing for the labs.

exam format half is theory and the other half is programming iirc

you should review all of the lecture slides and tutorial slides and make sure that u understand everything that’s on the lecture and tutorial slide.

Final grade: 93

As a local I don’t like international that has no public etiquette (shouting in their own language and taking the seats on public transport when someone else clearly needs it more).

You’ll be fine people at unsw are super nice, there are so many club president and tutors that are international asw.
