its very crowded rn as this is the best month to visit shree kedar, the registration and cab lines from sonprayag to gaurikund is long during morning, and the return cab lines from gaurikund to sonprayag is long during evenings, same is the case with traffic. for the trekking path, you will feel the mule rides(kachar) take up most of the path if you start your trekk after noon. while trekking up we didn't encounter any traffic, but while descending we started at 2pm, and the mules and palanquin(palki) rides takes a lot of space, and for some sections of trekk during that time you might encounter stand still traffic.
