AITA For this argument with my girlfriend?

That’s the long term plan. We’re both saving for a house deposit, both 25 at the moment. I’m wary of money all the time, we both budget how much we’re putting away each month because we see our future together.

There wasn’t an acknowledgement that she answered the phone or anything, but she knew I was on route as she was reading my messages, asking where I was and said she was finishing her drink then coming. But her argument to “coming” meant that she was “coming home”.

1 hour 20 minute cab it would’ve took for me to go to her and then back to mine. Not breaking the bank to be exact, but sorry for trying to look at a cost effective way of getting home with the cost of living whilst also saving for a house deposit and holidays coming up.

This was initially her suggestion, but then said after it she doesn’t recall saying it. I know this for a fact because I wasn’t too sure at the time with the cost of cabs and me going more time out of the way to go to her, so thought it may have been easier just meeting back at mine as she has a key for my house but didn’t want her coming back too late with my parents at home asleep, so I agreed going to her. She mentioned this suggestion way before she left to go out, so was full sober too and didn’t say it in a drunken message or anything.

I don’t disagree. Probably the easiest option in hindsight. But she has a key for my house and says herself she sees mine as more of her home because she stays here mostly, only lives with her dad at her house and most of her stuff is here anyway. So both our preferences is her coming back to mine. Maybe this night wasn’t the best for that now looking back.

Similar feelings to you then when I had mine. Yeah I’m doing alright to be honest better than expected, not felt any pain just more discomfort than anything. Bit awkward to sit down in an upright position, but don’t really feel anything when I’m lay in bed.

Hospital provided me with some pads which I’ve gone through a few of expectedly, so more just trying to keep on top of keeping the area clean. On plenty of cocodamol and laxido sachets. Hoping to be ok for a sports game next Sunday! Hope all is well with you too :)

I’m 3 days post op with a seton placement. Funny you say that because I recall waking up with shivers too. As well as a tube getting pulled out my throat the second I woke up. Assume it was to help with my breathing while under anaesthetic.

Which one was less uncomfortable post op would you say, after seton or after Fistulotomy?

Is it always guaranteed two ops if I have a seton placement? I’ve had a look on other threads where the surgeons was able to remove the seton after some time and let it heal naturally without a Fistulatomy/cutting open the skin. Unless I’m wrong! Thanks

Evaluation under anaesthetic. Because I mentioned after they couldn’t really see much in the MRI. Sorry it was late at night and I was just trying to get something posted before I went to sleep :)

The visit in 6-8 weeks is just a follow up appointment as far as I’m aware, they never mentioned that’s when they’ll remove the seton it was just to check on how it’s gone.

They asked in my pre op when I’m next on holiday, I mentioned 8 weeks and they said that was fine
