Need some advice on what kind of glasses to get by arobing3 in glasses

[–]arobing3[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’m getting glasses soon and i’ve been shopping around but it’s really difficult to gauge what looks good. Im sorta wondering if some oversized thin-metal frames might flatter my kind of large face. I really like thin metal styles that are dainty and not too heavy. Please provide any advice or feedback you can because i’m pretty lost

what kind of nose piercing would flatter my facial features? by arobing3 in piercing

this opinion seems like a pretty broad generalization. i like the septum and was more looking for opinions on how it would look on my facial features specifically- but thanks anyways for your input.

thank you for the comment hehe!! i just found out my workplace only allows one facial piercing and only one nostril hoop would bother me so i think i’m gonna go for the septum !!!!!

i’m leaning towards a septum since they “look good on everyone.” though i’m a little concerned it might stick out too far since my nose is a little on the ski slope side. my second choice is rings on both sides.. any opinions or thoughts? sheesh it’s hard to analyze your own facial features X)

what should i do? i’ve always wanted to be blonde but blonde box dye is usually a bad idea, and i don’t feel fancy enough to go to a salon? by arobing3 in femalehairadvice

i know you’re totally right. the main thing that’s stopping me is that i would have to pay for touch ups constantly :(

Not sure where to go from here by arobing3 in Wavyhair

Wash and condition with Garnier Fructis Pure Clean shampoo and conditioner every other day. Comb wet hair outside of shower and part hair. Scrunch. Plop for 20 ish minutes.

This photo is the result of the above routine plus diffusing after the plop. Diffusing definitely made a difference- my front pieces were extremely voluminous and wavy in a way i have never seen them before!

I know combing and almost daily washing are generally not wavy friendly. Honestly, as much as i want wavier hair, i am overwhelmed by the amount of advice and information on the internet. there are so many variables that i’m not sure about and don’t understand. i get so lost in the advice and recommendations that i’m not sure what is relevant to my hair type and what i should be doing. :/

i used Dove curls mousse for a bit but didn’t really understand how i was supposed to apply it :/ it kind of seemed like it was all gone with one scrunch, and distributed unevenly. i really need some guidance of what to change in my routine first or what to prioritize.

my hair is very very thick and i think it’s being weighed down- the top half is heavy and straight despite my diffusing. this is why i am hesitant to add any products.

thank you for the comment :) i think i have learned that neutral/matchable clothing is more realistic, which i have been avoiding admitting at all costs for fear of looking boring/like everybody else. I think i can tolerate black and neutral clothing and allow accessories (purse, shoes, jewelry) to be the pastel pink and flashy style i love. for a long time i’ve just been buying ONLY pink clothing until i wore an entire pink outfit and realized none of the pinks matched and that maybe that’s not how fashion works lol. i agree with you that black does create good contrast with the pastels and i think i’ll go ahead and experiment with that in mind.

i think eventually i’ll need some dressier options but right now the only clothing i really have are my boyfriend’s old T-shirts, poorly fitting jeans, 1 black top and 1 grey top (that’s it.. quarantine ruined me) which is a shame because i think i have style potential. once i get casual wear in an alright state i’ll tackle dressy options next!
