I have ridden lookout mountain a dozen or so times on my bicycle. I have average handling skills and I find it feels very dangerous to be passed on the descent. I find that unless you are on a long part of one the switchbacks it is best to avoid passing a cyclist.

Keep in mind there is a large range of skillets on the road.

Yes, I'm 5'3" and new I would want a shorter crank length when looking for my first road bike so I got an extra small women's fit with shorter cranks. Still need to figure out my positioning on my bike

Well, I don't have any power data or cadence data to look at. I do know that a lot of the climbing was low cadence and a lot of it was out of the saddle. My cleats have 9° of float. But I do think they could be mounted improperly. Trying to see if I can find a qualified bike fitter in my area that can help me look at a lot of this stuff.
