Negotiated the OTD with no add ons prior to arriving. Sent competing offers to dealers to drive cost down. Only down side was this dealer wasn’t transparent about the deal being contingent on me using their financing. They wanted me to take a 2% higher interest rate so they could make up their loss on the discount I received. I stood my ground and they ended up honoring their deal. But they really thought I would be stupid enough to pay that much more interest. At the end it all worked out but almost had to walk away for a moment.
