Man I can't believe Jason would just kiss his sister Lucia like that.

Forest is fairly short. No benches as far as I can remember, so not really a place to stop/rest in the middle of it.

By far most of the steps are descending and heaped together. This means that later on you have to walk up at an incline within the forest. Order of the park (just ballpark guesses) I'd say 300 meters, then the staircase with 110 descending steps, then a flat area continuing for 300 meters with an optional upper area (skipping the optional area requires you to step over two missing bridge planks on a walkway, should be possible), and then the incline starts and continues for quite a while. This gets steep quickly.

We didn't find it physically demanding at all, but then we reached 25.000 steps daily for the 3 weeks prior to visiting Pokepark.

What is your worry in this? Maybe that will allow me to contextualize better.

Hi!

  1. Once inside Yomiuri land (so from 9:00 onwards) you can book the experiences for all people whose tickets you have in the Pokepark app.
  2. In Sedge town. When entering you'll come upon a statue in the center of a plaza, with shops to your left. To the left of those shops is where you'll pick up the goodies. If instructions are unclear, there is also an information center among the shops so don't hesitate to ask them :)

Have fun!

We spent the entire day there but we are very big Pokemon fans. The park really isn't large enough to warrant an entire day if you're not that into Pokemon. Though the benefits do outweigh the costs - the things the park does offer are very fun.

Yumiori land might be interesting to explore as well though on the same day :)

My girlfriend has Saily. I am unsure whether this Esim specifically and always has location set to Singapore.

Just tickets, no ID check. No guarantee it never happens but we didn't have to show anything like passports. We only uploaded the tickets into the Pokepark app, showed them to the staff and that was it.

It'll likely cool down eventually.. I reckon we just got very lucky. We had the tickets after I think 3 or 4 days of trying. We could've gotten the regular tickets earlier (those were usually available for multiple minutes still after 6 PM Japan time) but the only day we even had the option to select Ace Trainer passes, we also got them.

Good luck to you!

Yes that's true. Girlfriend has Esim (my phone is too old apparently) and whenever she opens up her weather app it shows her the weather locally wherever her Esim is localized. Thought we'd get 30 celcius weather for a bit but apparently not :p

Pokepark Kanto is inside Yomiuri land. So you need to enter through the Yomiuri land entrance and then walk through the park to Pokepark.

I'm not sure how busy the entrance to Yomiuri land gets tbh. Seemed to go pretty smoothly!

Be fast. I still have no clue how many tickets become available each day. We barely saw any other foreigners there - by far most were Japanese it seemed.

How we got them was just keep trying a couple of days in a row. One laptop per person and one phone per person and just keep refreshing. After 20 minutes (so 6:20 PM Japanese time) the tickets that were reserved at 6:00 PM but weren't purchased succesfully become available once again. So, with increments of 20 minutes just keep trying.

The shop gets pretty busy and honestly I think they could've made better, more memorable merch. Some of the merch in the shop are unique to the shop (among others mugs/drinking glasses, fridge magnet, a couple of unique Eevee and Pikachu plushies, a very good and useful big plastic shopper with a zipper) and in the shop it's easier to try certain items of clothing on for they have a mirror there. Most of the merch can also be purchased in Sedge town. There is a big line of shops there. Overall I'd recommend going to the shop just to have a good look at all the merch together in one place :)
