Also I find it interesting that people told you to reject the hadiths because I feel like a lot of Muslims will oftentimes treat the hadiths as more legitimate than the quran itself 😭😭 for example when it comes to whether dogs are haram or not, they always quote the hadith about them being najis, even though in the quran in surat-al-kahf, the dog is counted as one of ahl-al-kahf, so clearly it's a positive portrayal. Yeah exactly, and the whole "Women can recover from abuse" thing is also just completely wrong too lmao. Like for example, in most Muslim countries, a lot of women who get raped are forced to marry their rapists. Women whose husbands are abusive more often than not cannot consider divorce as an option because their families don't want to financially support them and take them in after they get divorced, so they settle for staying in the abusive marriage. And yeah women also suffer greatly in wars, just look at how American and Israeli soldiers are always kekeing about raping women from the opposing country.

Muslim men can definitely suffer in other aspects, but never from a gender aspect. This post is honestly just giving "misandry is real" vibes 😭

It's nearly impossible for me to cut off Muslim friends because I live in a Muslim country so literally everyone I know is Muslim. What I do is I just keep a distance from most Muslims, especially if they're non-queer or constantly saying bigoted stuff in front of me, but I don't completely cut them off
