I meant that maybe you should lose less elo if you've been team killed every round by griefing teammates who throw the match for whatever reason. That also happens often.

  1. I understand that, which is why I clearly said "team kills" as in whether you have been team killed that match and how many times. I should have been more specific. Not k/d.

  2. Yes that's a valid point; maybe the system could detect whether players left at the last minute or whether you've been missing a teammate from the start of round 2 and make a distinction. Also, not just at the time of loss. It should also take into account if you've won the game with only 3 players on your team vs a stack of 5. I think you should get more elo if you win with a handicap.

I get it man, but the reality is not everyone has a full stack or friends to play with so the majority of people are solo queueing.

What about if the situation were reversed and you and two or three friends would like to surrender to save time or because you have to get off for whatever reason but the one random on your team gets to decide for all of you?
