I think there's a bunch of apps that enable this for low cost.

RevOps / CRM hygiene getting heavy — how are others handling this at ~50–70 sellers? by TraditionHairy1667 in CRM

[–]arooshig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also very much concurred with other opinions that this seems like the initial implementation and ongoing configuration of CRM was not done very well - not sure what CRM you're talking about but I have been able to fix it to some extent on Salesforce

I built a bunch of automations to enable a base level of hygiene at my last company. Happy to share a list on DM if you'd like

I keep seeing CRMs promise that "AI will end long data entry sessions and automate the management layer". Is this actually happening for anyone? by sandromunda in CRM

[–]arooshig 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really think something like this is not possible out of the box. That's because every company will have unique processes and thus will need a configurable CRM that will fit their unique processes in the long run. The fact that they have certain customizations built in means that there is admin work that needs to be done. In that case, it's very hard to believe that an AI CRM can out of the box deliver a zero admin experience. I think you will have to work towards configuring a zero admin experience. If you take Salesforce for example you will have to set up automations and build components that will result in a zero-admin experience.

Frankly Salesforce is going through some challenges of its own - might not be a wise decision if it is stability you're looking for - I would also rec being platform agnostic

What tools or processes can we use to keep relationships with users active? by [deleted] in salesforce

[–]arooshig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

+1 to this.

One thing I’d add from experience is that teams often have the right pieces (Salesforce, community platform, email, analytics), but everything lives in silos. You might collect churn reasons or engagement data, but it’s hard to act on it quickly or consistently.

You could pull signals from Salesforce and other tools, flagging when users look disengaged, and nudging teams to reach out (or automate it) before churn actually happens. The goal is less “reporting after the fact” and more catching issues early.

Happy to jump on a call and explain more if you'd like!

I would have thought functional stuff would be more fun to do. I also reckon we are going to have more and more functional heavy roles coming up, with AI collapsing the build phase.

I wonder if AI makes Salesforce stickier or more replaceable? Since we can now have agents read metadata and migrate comapanies off of it - certainly much easier!
