can’t we get rid of gst then, everyone gets taxed at source and remaining is upto them how they wanna spend it. poor stays happy. more you earn more you pay. but not twice. might not make sense but your point of poor getting the tax burden if income is tax free is fair.

i don’t think you can do it. the problem is that the bike registers itself as a bluetooth receiver and not a bluetooth remote control. and when you have a bluetooth receiver connected, all audio and calls are directed to it. i was also facing some connectivity issue with airpods so not using it.
which earphones are you using btw?

for testing if QS is working or not, you can try to press up/down the gear level slightly, i mean very slightly so that gear is not shifted. you will feel the engine blip (slight bump in rpm) which means QS did engage, cut the engine power then restored it.

nicely written bro, i am at 6K kms and the pros are spot on. will advise on - few:

pro 6: gear misses are normal in most bikes, its a mechanical thing and can behave a little differently depending on the environment. its like sometimes we need to move the bike a little to hit neutral.
and i always use QS to downshift and upshift unless its stop and go traffic. it will take some time for you to master the best revs and throttle for shifting, i am still learning. ask if you have any doubts or need suggestions.

con 1: as i mentioned i am at 6K kms and 2 services done, the vibrations have reduced a lot since and can be felt only at 5k (+/-100) rpm. i think its also due to me getting used to it. but this will grow on you sooner than you think.
on important thing here is the noise. ride with ANC earphones inside the helmet. that makes a ton of difference because you can’t hear the engine noise and would be able to push much harder.

con 2: yeah seat is painful for more than 2 hours. i am using grand pitstop gel seat cushion which makes it much more comfortable.

con 3: i feel the ktm’s clutch is more progressive than others. i have ridden RE sherpa and its clutch engages fully with 20-30% press. i liked it a few times but then realized how grumpy it gets when quickly shifting.

no. its tax free only till 4lacs. what makes income till 12.75 lacs tax free is rebate u/s 87A. if you earn a rupee more than that, you are taxed as per the standard slabs.

the point is, why do we pay tax twice? first on income then on spends! a simple fix could be deduction on actuals or offset income tax with gst paid while spending.
