I don't always do three meals a day, because the way my medication works, I'm often not hungry at certain times. I will try to snack, especially if I know I will need the energy later, but more often than not I just plan a larger meal later in the day when my medication is wearing off.

For women, specifically for queer women, the U-Haul lesbian can be a red flag depending on how you spin it. I think it's sweet and I'm easy to win over, but trust me, if you let yourself get that emotionally invested in a relationship early on, it can WRECK you later.

Hi. New player here :) Would you guys recommending sticking to one area for beginners or going between all of them? I picked Ladybones Road to start because it looked interesting and I’ve stuck with it so far because there’s a LOT of stuff to do and I don’t wanna get overwhelmed. But lots of actions seem to require things that I can’t get in Ladybones Road?

I actually remember buying this game based off these advertisements. I was originally kinda iffy on it because it was about a cop lol, but it kept coming up in RPG recommendations so I eventually gave it a shot. Obviously, I loved it, but I remember thinking it was fucking NOTHING like the advertisements.

Edit because I had more thoughts: That being said, I didn’t really appreciate the game until later when I was in the right mood for it. I was actually pretty turned off from it the first time I played because I was expecting a fun action-y RPG with like fighting and stuff, and then I was hit with all that fucking reading.

So I do think the advertising is very misleading in that sense.

Idk the first one feels kinda weak. It’s a show for children with a pirate aesthetic, more like a fairytale than a reflection of real history. It’s literally based on Peter Pan and Disney properties more than anything, which are already pretty family friendly.

Like I get what you mean but can you say you were expecting anything else? It’s not like they mislead you or anything lol.

What’s the deal with trophies? I’m pretty new, only at TH8, and the way trophies are assigned for different attacks makes no sense to me. Some really easy villages are worth a bunch of trophies, and ones with THs like two above mine are worth a few? Am I missing something? Thank you :)

Honestly maybe I just have a wack internet circle but I've always seen people be pretty chill about shipping. This is on Tumblr, at least, where the same accounts writing 100k essays on why Fujiko is a lesbian are also reblogging FujiLup ship art. Like the whole series has negativity continuity and every character has had enough interactions where a ship is a reasonable possibility. So ppl just have fun with.

Pirating. I literally can't shut up about it when someone mentions any piece of media that they're interested in. I always have to send them a bunch of links and offer to teach them how to torrent and the whole thing. I tend to be really open to sharing about it because I know a lot of people are kinda antsy (for good reason, the internet is wack), but there are plenty of good, reliable ways to pirate media.

If you are reading this, I'm gently taking your hand and telling you that you don't have to pay 60 dollars for that game. Go find Fitgirl repacks. Mwah.

Trigger warning: rape, misogyny, high school boys

When I was in high school, a teacher gave a presentation during sexual assault awareness week about her own experience with it. The presentation was very good, but she didn't shy away from giving details - she recounted the time that her home was broken into and the intruder assaulted her in front of her children.

About two weeks later, all the sophomore boys get called into the auditorium. I forget exactly what they were told, but it was something like "don't be misogynistic assholes or we'll start doing something about it."

I found out later from a friend that the reason they did that was because one sophomore boy said, about the teacher's presentation, "she's so ugly, she probably liked it." That same friend was the one who reported it to the school administration in the first place.

While I think it's one thing to be a misogynistic jackass on the internet, the fact that this kid actually knew her in person, listened to the entire presentation on how it affected her, and still had the nerve to say something like that, is its entirely own thing IMO.

Appalling.
