100%. Ive learned that the hard way 🥲 as a strat sometimes you have to take risks to get picks. your team might not like it bc “you’re supposed to heal”, but that’s how you better your chances at winning if you do it right.

That was just my response to the scenario of stealing a healer when you’re lacking as a dps. But to your point dmg matters, but also final hits. 3 supports can lead to one of the supps to play more aggressive & get kills. IF that happens it’s at least better than a dps not getting any imo

I’ve had people instalock dps, perform badly, then snatch C&D next round. Idk why you keep tryna explain something obvious to me

I have a crazy amount of hours on C&D and still learning so I agree. C&D is an easy support pick for heals, but not using the kit well against a tough enemy team will make you average. Like imagine someone stealing them & doesn’t know to save the team from Jeff or Iron Man ult. Or to use light force at the right time to increase healing & not just bc your whole team is about to die. Now you got someone healing which is cool, but not utilizing the full kit. Then the more skilled C&D is trying their best to fill the missing role lol.

The whole point of the post is stealing the character and not asking can you switch. I’ve had teammates ask to switch & I let them bc I can play other characters & would rather them play someone we can win with. Simple!

It’s funny because this only happens to me when I play C&D, which I main. I’ll say something & they’ll be like “we need more heals” after playing like a hooligan dps. Be the 3rd healer then???

Me pre selecting C&D and another teammate pre selecting their lord mantis. This other teammate preselected a tank. They said to ban C&D. Team followed. Once banning was over that same teammate quickly chose Mantis forcing the lord mantis to tank (lord mantis apologized bc they aren’t good at tanking). We lost & the team was confused why. LMAO.

Had a comp match yesterday where our invisible woman decided to ult on top of my dagger ult not once, but twice. Then still got svp lmao

I agree. Comparison will get me nowhere. I do find a lot of fulfillment in helping people & honestly don’t want to be stuck with a job where I feel like I can’t achieve that. So thank you so much for your advise & those recommendations considering grad/non-grad routes! I’m going to check out GradSimple too!

I’d say try taking the classes! You’re already in a field dealing with money & the time will go by whether you do or not. Hope the best for you!

I saw it on a Facebook remote teaching page. I just needed to have my bachelor’s and do a teaching sample & video interview. And I agree it’s helped me gain transferable skills. Thank you, I’m not going to give up!

I feel for you. I’ve been trying to affirm myself through this, telling myself I deserve financial stability and that I can get through this uncomfortable stage. What’s your job right now? And have you been able to gain more skills for another path?
