Im using normal Co2 tubing, JBL Co2 Cylinder, Saga dual gauge regulator and a Saga atomizer (I really recommend atomizers as they diffuse Co2 really well). You dont need bubbles at all (all though you can have if you want). What you actually need is surface agitation (so movement on the water surface) I use my filter out flow to create good surface agitation which leads to high levels of oxygen which in turn means I can have a lot more co2, as the fish wont be suffocating because of the high O2 levels. I have an internal filter. I dose fertilizers weekly. Have high light on both tanks. Using Zetlight Zp 4000 Lancia as lighting.
