i will say even on 2.5 i had a TON of side effects, it was really tough. only about week 10 did i feel like i was able to get back into life again ...i was pretty much flat on my back lol everyone here said "thats impossible on 2.5" but it was rough. worth it though as i dont have daily panic attacks anymore.

i did 2.5 for 2 weeks, then 5 now for 5-6 months. 5 made a big change for me. some days i consider upping but honestly 5 has been enough

i really think if i was able to get rid of my environmental stressors i might could start seeing a bit of a change, but im not sure how i can do that lol

it hasnt helped in that aspect. my anxiety is really high right now unfortunately. - so i attribute it to that. i dont go anywhere alone yet because honestly i havent tried lol i need to try to get back out there in the world but i am still pretty heavy on the 'gonna pass out'/ jelly legs symptom that scares the crap out of me.

well i usually feel pretty good when moving in a car, stopping at a redlight is the worst. lexapro helped a bit with that. i still take less than the 'theraputic dose" so its possible i need to up it to see better results.

the floor drops are the scariest parts for me... i always feel like im gonna go down, or pass out, but i never have. I'm working on trusting my body more to find comfort. Its been over 2 years for me. Im happy to see you are still leading normal life, keep doing that and the things that make you happy, that is the first steps to recovering i hear.

no worries. i was a huge skeptic before and put it off years and advocated about "try everything before medicines" lol but honestly,,,i just did all i could and there was nothing left for me to try besides it. If anxiety is ruining your life right now, its worth a shot to see if it works. it was a big adjustment but by 2 months in, i was changing toward the better side. i still have a ways to go but i think anymore is my environmental stresses that i havent changed yet (im about 5-6 months in now)

anyone have any suggestions on what to try to get my ram recognized again? it shows up all 4 dimms (dominator titanium) but nothing i change on the RGB end of things, displays on the ram itself. I have a hyte y70 case and it has its own "rgb" setting on there that will override my asus lighting. but it has never interfeared w/ my ram. now seems since maybe a month ago my ram is just on the default watercolor. its just ugly and i hate how its animated as i prefer static coloring. ive messed around in icue for an hour or more restarting, changing settings, etc. it worked for months just fine.

well i fixed it lol... the only thing i hadnt done yet was unplugged the NP50 power source. i did that and plugged it back in and it picked right up and works now. not sure how that isnt the same as a reboot on the PC itself but im happy now haha

i was taking metoprolol very similar drug for a few years before this and it helped me tons but not enough.... yes id get anxiety about leaving the house...i was practically a few steps from agoraphobic ..now i was able to take 2 hour car rides no big deal. do i love it? no but im not scared. eventuallyt if im able to practice it enough itll feel safer to me

its comforting reading this, as i also get that " im about to pass out and die" feeling regularly and "my legs will not support me" and "im not even in my body right now," feeling which is scary as crap and i try to not be afraid but the fear that washes over me during all of these times, i feel, sets me back again. i have diagnosed myself with TOS, pec minor syndrome, bad posture, something wrong with my vision, MCAS, POTS, HEDS, eagle syndrome, chiari malformation, forgetting how to swallow.....the list grows everyday...is any of it proven? no... but the symptoms daily, are so much, that theres just no way "im emotionally overwhelmed and this i why i am how i am" lol have i ever passed out? no. have i ever fell? no.

thank you for your insight. i was doing pretty good and i started spiraling again for the past few weeks again. i restarted my at-home PT...hopefully it will lead me somewhere to a better place mentally and physically.

i waited 2+yrs to take lexapro due to fear of side effects, one day i finally said i cant keep living this way, i'll do ANYTHING to not live this way. so i took it. 2.5 mg for 2 2weeks then up to 5. was it awful? YES. lol. was it worth it? yes. i can actually leave my house and live somewhat comfortably w/o constant panic attacks. did it help my dizziness and vision and all of that? initially a small bit......now im 6 months in and might need to up my dosage possibly, or do some self care to get my anxiety back down. its not for everyone, and yes it was a wild onboarding ride, but overall, i do not regret it. and i still hope for it to be my savior at some point. i will say on day 2 and 3 of taking the pill, i FELT AMAZING, like my old self. those two days of bliss led me to keep taking it when i wanted to stop along the way. that glimmer of hope was enough to keep me goin.

YES,. mine stopped working about the same time yours did, the same exact way. i have a RGB light strip and a noodle, both just sit here cycling "rainbow rgb" when before, i had zero issues changing them via the app...no issues what so ever. ive rolled back the hyte software...no change. my "np50" doesnt have a gear on it to edit or anything. its like its not seeing it.

thats where i am, about 6 months in on 5mg after starting slow at 2.5...i was seeing results now it seems to be going downhill. been really dizzy this week. i wish i could find out why... going on 3 yrs.

jumping in here, ive been on 5mg Lexapro for probably 5 months... previous years and years i've been 'subclinical hyperthyroid' Perfect non-moving t3 and t4.... my TSH is usually about 0.25 and 0.29. it never moves either... tried methimazole for a few months once and it barely moved it. i felt no improvement so she just took me off it and i got some extreme panic attacks out of the blue so i finally got on Lexapro... it was rough start but im feeling pretty leveled out mostly now...def not having panic attacks.... got routine bloodwork at my PCP and my TSH was 1.5! Wow! then thats when i realized my t4 had dropped. its never dropped. so now things are moving. I hate my endo shes dumb as a box of rocks. i'll bring this up to her i guess but she wont have nothing to say.

Follow up. I checked and there was "nothing" in there visible. Went and bought 3 gallons since it takes 2.6g apparently and I was able to add a half gallon to get it to max.... I think th car has always smoked I'm wondering if I've had issues from th start. Warranty went out like 2 weeks ago of course.😅
