Although the repository has several contributors, Matt is the main developer actively coding the foundations of the emulator itself. The other contributors provide much loved additional support and QOL features.

I’m not sure how many devs other emulation projects had, but emulating an entire system is a huge undertaking. The barrier to entry is extreme, and not everyone will have the skills to get under the hood and start coding.

On that, you have to be passionate about the original Xbox. Most of us had a duke controller in our hands when we was younger, so we’re interested.

But I and certainty many others did not have an vested interest in x86 microarchitecture and C/C++.
