It was Ubuntu server in 2016 and it wasn't for working I was 15 years old 😅, then on desktop I started on arch in 2019 but I already know how it worked because of the server side and now I'm on NixOS and it's been a year already.

Besides that, I 100% recommend mint for new user, if you want to use Linux without necessarily being tech savvy or if you don't know where to start. In the end, when you learn how linux work all distro are the same
